Shari J. Elessar, General Counsel
For fifteen years, Shari Elessar, Esq. has held leadership positions providing consulting and/or legal and in-house legal services for Fortune 500 public and Forbes 500 private companies, as well as smaller businesses. She began her career at the prestigious Wall Street law firm, Cravath, Swaine & Moore and most recently performed consulting and legal services for private clients, with an emphasis on construction and real estate issues. She is also a licensed continuing education provider for the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.
Ms. Elessar has served as an American Corporate Counsel Member; ABA Construction Litigation Committee, Co-Committee Chair, In-House Counsel, and as a member of the Florida Bar Real Estate and Construction Subcommittee. She has spent extensive time on pro bono and volunteer work including mentoring, children's hospital volunteer, cystic fibrosis causes, recording for the blind, inner city school seminars, and as a volunteer for the arts. She has served on the Board of Directors, Temple Emanuel/Lakeland, as the Chapter Treasurer for the United Jewish Communities, a member of the Willson Inns of Court and on the Keiser College Advisory Board. She currently serves as the pro bono attorney for Palm Beach Public Orchestral Strings Foundation, which is the financial supporting arm for the public school's string program in Palm Beach.
Ms. Elessar received her B.A. degree from Cornell University, Summa Cum Laude, combining her undergraduate studies at both Cornell and at Oxford University, England. She received her J.D. from University of Chicago and is a member of the Florida Bar and the New York State and Federal Bars.
