Legacy Mortgage

Overview

Main Street Financial Services, LLC. - With its deep roots in real estate development, the company was in a unique position to be able to examine the resort financing situation in the United States and as a result, discovered an acute need for affordable middle-income financing solutions. A select number of private sector financial institutions actively engage in resort mortgage lending, creating a volume of lending substantially below potential demand for mortgage loans and the products offered appear to inadequately address the needs of this niche market. In an effort to leverage over $3 billion in inventory investment of resort development and strategic relationships, Robert Miller is in the process of developing a mortgage bank, Main Street Financial Services, LLC. (MSFS). The new company will offer direct resort mortgage lending to consumers in targeted niches, including resort homes, super-jumbo residential mortgages, dockominiums, and rackominiums in the state of Florida, with other states to be added over time.

Main Street Financial Services, LLC is dedicated to enabling resort mortgage borrowers to purchase the resort unit of their choosing, or to refinance in order to maximize their buying power with a mortgage program most suited to their particular needs at the lowest possible rate. This dedication is fueled by three basic principals:

  1. Lowering the barriers to resort unit ownership
  2. Increasing education about resort unit ownership
  3. Driving down the cost of resort unit ownership

Main Street Financial Services, LLC will initially focus on specialized, non-traditional, undeserved markets to earn above-industry returns. Competitive advantages that MSFS' unique package brings to the market include:

  • Mortgage products designed to meet the unique needs of each niche market
  • Resources, creativity and connections of an investment bank
  • Developer-oriented perspective
  • State-of-the-art back office
  • Low fixed costs
  • Knowledge, experience and relationships in the Florida market space
