A contract to oversee a $150-million marina redevelopment project has been awarded to Annunziata General Contracting LLC by JupiterPointe Club & Marina.

The contract calls for Annunziata to oversee demolition of existing structures, design and development of horizontal infrastructure, as well as the construction of an 85,000-sq-ft boat-storage facility designed to withstand a Category 5 hurricane. The project also will include a 6,000-sq-ft club house, swimming pool and a tiki bar and grill. Completion is scheduled for early 2009.
